With great sadness, we announce William Saunders Jr, who departed this life on June 13th 2026 at the age of 70. William was born on November 10th 1955 in Chicago, IL to William and Joyce Saunders. Throughout their life they were known for kindness, humor, strength, and dedication.

William is survived by his girlfriend Sandra Neubert, his nephew Jeremy (Sharon) Bohl, his sister Pamela Saunders, his daughter Melissa (Tim) Schwarz and their children, his son William Jr., his son-in-law Lewis Gonzalez, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his brother Stephen Ray Saunders, his nephew Jason W. Bohl, his parents Joyce and William Saunders, and his daughter Scarlett Gonzalez.

William dedicated much of his life to creating some of the most beautiful music out of pure passion driven by his soul. His music and humor put smiles on many faces of those that had the opportunity to cross paths with him. He had a beautiful smile and a charm that touched many. He cherished his family and friends and held them very close to his heart. He often spoke of the love he had for his children and grandchildren. He will never be forgotten by those who loved him.
