William Robert Dondit age 82 of Wheeling, IL. Beloved husband of Dee Ann (nee Amick) for 60 years. Loving father of Daniel (Martha) Dondit, Laurie (Curt) Mudgett, Cheryl Dondit Campos, Ross (Jami) Dondit, Peter Dondit, and Leticia Lowery. Dear grandpa of Madeleine, Greta, Isabelle, Evan (Shauna), Darnell, Grant, David, Simon, Elsa, Lena, Hannah, Josh, Jessica (Corey), and Lauren. Great grandfather of Jackson, Theo, Aksel, and Dante. Fond brother of Carol (Hobert) Farrell. Uncle, cousin and friend of many. Pastor Bill had the heart of a servant and enjoyed shepherding Our Saviour Evangelical Free Church, Olivet Evangelical Free Church and Sunfield United Brethren, ministering for over 40 years. His passion for people was only eclipsed by his love for the Lord and His Word. Visitation Thursday 2:00 pm at Our Saviour Evangelical Church, 300 Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling, IL followed by a Life Celebration Service at 6:00 pm. Family Graveside Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Muskegon, MI. A public Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm EST Saturday at Olivet Evangelical Free Church, 6790 Harvey Road, Spring Lake, MI.
