William R. "Billy" Cricks, age 71, of Kannapolis, NC passed away Monday, February 10, 2025. Born on May 26, 1953, in Sharon, Pennsylvania to Graaf and Lois (nee Davis) Cricks, Billy enjoyed growing up in western Pennsylvania. Billy was a loving husband, uncle, and friend to many, known for his warmth, kind heart, and ever-present smile. He was passionate about many things in life, particularly fishing, horses, and spending time in the barn. His love for the outdoors and the animals he cared for was unmatched. Whether it was casting a line into a peaceful lake or taking care of his horses, Billy found joy in the simple moments. Billy was also a dedicated and successful professional, known as the #1 Cadillac salesman for many years. But above all, Billy was a person who made everyone around him feel like family, always with a smile on his face. He is survived by his four siblings, Charlie (Katie) Cricks, JoAnn (David) Skarosi, Kathy (John) Lazor, Ben (Mary) Cricks; nine nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews. Billy's love for life, his smile, and his kind spirit will live on in the memories of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed. Services were private for his family.
