Susan Piacenza "Big Sue" nee Beneventi age 73 of Arlington Heights. Beloved partner of the late Ronald Vuca for many years. Loving mother of Robert Burns, Michelle Piacenza, Richard Piacenza and the late Sarah Piacenza. Fond step mother of Eric, Nancy, Michael (Carrie) Vuca and Rhonda (Corey) Jenkins. Cherished grandma of many. Dear sister of Jeffrey (Oksana) Bennett, Cliff Beneventi, Mark Beneventi, Quinten (Ramona) Beneventi, Kino (Natalie) Beneventi, Suzette (Tim) Melton, Jeanine Beneventi and Dino Beneventi. Sister in-law of Shirley Ann Basler. Cousin of Peggy Nolan. She will be greatly missed by her large, extended and loving family and friends. A very large thank you to the caring nurses, doctors and staff at the Abington for all their wonderful care that enriched her life and made her final years. She was an avid reader, camper, crocheting, making fudge, and Christmas decorations. Her great laugh and sense of humor is going to be greatly missed. Services will be private.
