Robert Ficks, age 76, of Buffalo Grove, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026. He was born in Chicago, IL to Lawrence and Gertrude nee Holm Ficks. He married the love of his life, Cynthia Devine on July 5, 1975, in Deerfield, IL. Devoted husband 50 years to Cynthia Ficks. Loving father of Jason (Bethany) Ficks and the late Melissa Ficks. Doting grandfather of Jayde Ficks, Everett Ficks, and Emilyn Ficks. Fond brother of Jeri Stoney. Kind brother-in-law of Norb (the late Mary) Devine. Caring uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
