Paul M. Nowacki, age 38 of Highland Park. Beloved husband of Amber nee Gehring for 10 years. Adored dad of Brooke and Bryce. Loving son of Marian and Helena Nowacki. Dear brother of Evelina (Paul) Arena and Sylvia (Nick) Pomazak. Fond uncle of Maxton and Griffin Pomazak and the late Bobby Arena. Grandson of Elżbieta Golenia, Poland. Loving nephew, cousin, and friend to many. Paul attended Field Elementary School in Northbrook where he first met his wife Amber in the third grade. Paul's love of fishing started at a young age and became a passion of his throughout his life. Paul graduated from Glenbrook high school and excelled in volleyball becoming captain of his team and playing throughout college at the University of Iowa. Paul was an avid fisherman who loved spending time outdoors catching salmon and bass. He loved to take his children fishing and sharing his love of the sport. Paul loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his time during winter being active in sports with friends, skiing and snowboarding. He had a love and passion for animals, plants and enjoyed the great outdoors. Paul had a wonderful sense of humor, often telling jokes and bringing laughter to everyone's life. His smile shined as bright as his heart. His love, empathy and kindness was felt by all whose lives he touched. Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, August 10th at 10 am at St. Norbert Catholic Church, 1809 Walters Ave., Northbrook. Inurnment private.
