Patricia Ann (Brettin) Bialek, 72, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Cherokee County Health Nursing Home in Centre, AL.

Patricia was born on May 24, 1954 in Knox, IN the daughter of John and Camila (Plante) Brettin. She was the middle of three siblings: brothers John (Maria) Brettin and Steve (Stacy) Brettin. She grew up in Knox, IN and graduated from Knox High School. She married Boguslaw (Bob) Bialek on October 9, 1976. Patricia was dedicated to her career in property management from 1974 to her retirement in 2020.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Bob Bialek; Children Christina (Jason) Jaszka, John (Kelsey) Bialek; Grandchildren Josie and Deacon; Mother Camila Brettin; Brothers John (Maria) Brettin and Steve (Stacy) Brettin; Nephew Alex; Niece Natalie; Great Nephew Jacob.

She was preceded in death by her father John Brettin.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held by the family August 15, 2026 from 12 pm to 5 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home 189 S Milwaukee Ave, Wheeling, IL 60090. A life celebration service will begin at 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Patricia's memory
