Pamela Ann Wienke, age 70, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, after a short battle with Alzheimer's Disease. "Wink", as she was affectionately known by her friends, resided at the Citadel Memory Care facility in Northbrook, Illinois at the time of her death. Pam was born on July 18, 1954, at Resurrection Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Beloved sister of Robin Wienke and Chris Wienke. Loving aunt of Christopher Wienke, Matthew Wienke, Sarah Pavlis, and Adam Wienke. Fond cousin of Mary Susan McDonald and Karen Wood. Pam was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Louise (nee Rapeh) Wienke. Pam graduated in 1972 from Sullivan High School in Chicago. Upon graduation she worked as an Electrical Technician for both Illinois Bell Telephone for 19 years, followed by time with Continental Electric and Home Depot. Pam loved music and played the guitar. She was passionate about animals, especially her beloved cats. Her condominium was full of cat decor; including pillows, pictures, figurines, and "cat" slippers. Thank you to Mary Susan McDonald, Karen Wood, and Connie Tracy for their continuing support for Pam over the years as Pam battled this devastating disease.
