Obituary

Pamela Deborah Litz-Blevons aka "Fritz" age 66 of Deerfield gained her angel wings on October 16th, 2020. She made her transition peacefully surrounded by family and an abundance of love. Her three children; Apryll Wilhelm nee Blevons, Kyle Blevons and Taylor Blevons were the light of her life and her light lives on in each of them. She will be sorely missed by her siblings Kathleen, Paulette (late Bill Devine), Michael (Tammy) and John (Yongjia) Litz, but she is now reunited with her parents Herbert and Bernadette Litz as well as her baby brother Bobby. She was adored as an aunt, cousin, niece and surrogate "Grandma Pela" to many. Her familial relationships expanded far beyond those formed by blood and she was a proud mama and grandma to many four-legged companions. Pamela placed a deep value in her friendships both new and old. She was fortunate to have a vast and ever growing circle of friends that she held very near and dear to her heart. To know her was to love her. Pamela was a vibrant, energetic and creative soul, known for her fiery spirit, generous and caring nature, resilience and positive attitude. Her presence lit up any room she walked into. She certainly lived life to the fullest and enjoyed all the finer things it had to offer- nature, gardening, music, the arts, the pleasure of good food in good company and dancing till her heart's content. Pamela was passionate about her career and felt lucky to run her own business beautifying people's homes as an Interior Designer. She loved to give back to her community by volunteering her time and talents to various organizations and donating to many charities. Although it may seem that her days on earth were cut too short, she always said, "Don't count the days, Make the days count!" Her memory will live on in all the ways she made her days count and in all those whose lives she touched. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. -Dr. Suess Memorial Visitation is being held on Sunday, November 1st from 12-5 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S.
