Marilyn Kimmel Meyers, 92, was welcomed into the loving arms of the Lord on July 28. She lived a full and rewarding life and was a devoted mother to her five children: Richard Meyers (Margie), Gale Mann, (John d.) Jeffrey Meyers (Mary Jo d.), David Meyers (Beth) and Regina Eisenberg (Brad) and a loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was a beloved daughter of Constance and Charles Kimmel, and cherished sister to the late Shirley (late Jack), Barbara (late Joe) and Allen (Janice) (late Arden). She is survived by her sister, Pamela Becker (Robert). Marilyn worked in banking for over 60 years, first as a proof operator at Continental Bank, and then at Devon Bank, where she started in the proof department and rose to Vice President in the Accounting Department. She loved golf, dancing, cooking, knitting, and gardening. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her friends, siblings, and family, including her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom  loved learning from her and spending time with her. She was never too busy to babysit, play, and hold them all. She passed on her love of life and family. It is a legacy of love, and she will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 14th from 2 pm to 6 pm at Rob Roy Golf Course Clubhouse, 505 E Camp McDonald Rd., Prospect Heights.
