Margaret Mary Kokkelenberg (nee Cook) age 85 of Arlington Heights and formerly of Wheeling passed away January 17th 2022. Beloved mother of Thomas (Jessica), Edward, Paul (Debbie) Kokkelenberg and Diane (Jeff) Boldt. Loving "Omie" of Edward Anthony (Olivia), Jessica, Jonathan, Kristen, Emily, Madeline, and James. Great grandmother of Paisleigh, Gabriel, and Eleanor. Fond aunt of many wonderful nieces and nephews. Cherished sister of the late Elizabeth Tosch and friend of many. Margaret was a proud college graduate of Mundelein College and retired from a successful career in Human Resources with Honeywell and AM Multigraphics. Her true passions were her family, singing in St. Mary's choir, and playing cards with friends. She was quick to show off cherished artwork from her grandchildren and loved to take them on adventures to explore libraries, museums, and the Botanic Garden. Visitation is being held Tuesday, January 25th 9AM-11AM at Kolssak Funeral Home at 189 S. Milwaukee Avenue in Wheeling. Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Buffalo Grove at 11:30AM. Interment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers donations to Catholic Charities are appreciated.
