Kevin A. Frei, age 75, of Wheeling, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025. He was born in Chicago on June 17, 1949 to Emil and Dolores (Fanny) Frei. Devoted husband of over 50 years to Elyse Frei nee Kanter. Loving brother to Kathy (Al) Shomer, Kim (the Late Dennis) Higgins, Kris (Michael) DeFrank, and Karla Gellatly. Fond brother-in-law to the late Herb Kanter. Kind uncle to Susan (Chris) Newman, Stephanie (Harry) Kleiser, Steven (Amy) Shomer, Ryan Higgins, Erin (John) Darguzas, Colin (Lorraine) Higgins, Nicholas (Lori) DeFrank, Lauren DeFrank, Tami (Eric) Posey, and Danna (Joey) Miller. Caring cousin, great-uncle and beloved friend to many. Visitation will be Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 1 pm. until the time of service at 4 pm. at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S.
