James Joseph "Joe" Healan, age 71 of Lincolnshire. Joe died peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 31st after a short, courageous fight with cancer. Beloved husband of Kathleen Hines Healan for 48 years. Loving father of Christy (Gary) Greenberg and Steven (Amanda) Healan. Adored grandfather of Kate and Leah. Cherished brother of Rita Healan. Loving uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend to many. Joe's greatest joys in life were travelling the world with his wife, doting on his two granddaughters, checking in with his daughter at their one-on-one lunches and playing golf with his son. He was born in Athens Georgia to James Benjamin "JB" Healan and Grace Healan (nee Orr). From humble beginnings, he built a successful career in mortgage banking and ascended to Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Stanley's mortgage division. He was proud to have provided a wonderful life for his family and will be dearly missed.
