Joanne McGowan nee Berrie age 94 of Hoffman Estate formerly of Wheeling since 1956. Beloved wife of the late Frederick McGowan. Loving mother of Keith (Robin) McGowan, Timothy McGowan,, and Linda (Bono) Gonzales and the late Dennis McGowan and Richard (Katie) McGowan. Dear grandma of Andy McGowan, Amanda McGowan, Mack (Lanna) McGowan, Delaney McGowan, Nate McGowan, Kyle (Julia) Gonzales and Brian Gonzales. Great-grandmother of Liam McGowan. Fond sister of the late Ronald (Mary Lou) Berrie, Jean (late Frank) Haltom and Jacquelyn Berrie. Fond Aunt and Cousin of many. 

Joanne worked for Illinois Bell for 25 years and member of the Red Hat Society.

Visitation Monday July 27, 2026 at 9:00 am at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling.

Life Celebration Service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment Memory Gardens, Arlington Heights, IL.
