Joan Krippes, age 96 peacefully passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Citadel of Northbrook with her family by her side. She was born October 28, 1929, in Chicago to the late Leslie and Agnes nee Connor Wagner. 

Devoted wife to the late Harry Krippes. Loving mother of sons, Edward, Harry, and Scott Krippes, and daughter Ruth Lissner. Doting grandmother of Dina, Kieth, Clifford, Benjamin Tracey, Daniel and Tommy. Fond sister of John Wagner.  Kind aunt, cousin, and friend to many.  

Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling, IL 60069.
