Joan Mary Blake  "Auntie Joan" age 91.  Cherished daughter of the late Robert J. Blake and the late Mary Blake nee Sweeney. Beloved sister of Barbara Glanz, Nancy (late Patrick) O'Connor and the late Gerald (Vickie) Blake.  Loving aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Joan was a lifelong Chicagoan and taught in the Chicago Public Schools for many years. She graduated from St. Scholastica Academy and Mundelein College.

Visitation Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 181 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling followed by an 11:00 am mass.  

Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.  In lieu of flowers, the family would gratefully appreciate offerings of Masses or donations to the Order of the Carmelites.
