Jean H. Bojes, age 62, of Buffalo Grove passed away Thursday, February 19, 2025. She was born October 28,1962 in Oak Park, IL to James and Edith (nee Hansen) Harrison, Sr. On May 28, 2006, Jean married Allen J. Bojes in Oak Park. Loving wife to Allen J. Bojes. Kind sister to James "Jay" (Sally) Harrison, Jr. and Heather (Martin) Pangelinan. Fond aunt to Joe and Sarah Chiesa. Caring great-aunt to Samantha and Chloe. Dear sister-in-law to Gary (Iza Plucinska) Bojes. Jean was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Edith Harrison. We celebrate the incredible life of Jean Harrison Bojes, a former Assistant Professor of Music at Concordia University Chicago. Jean's journey includes 20 years of her enriching experience at Concordia University Chicago, where she honed her skills, embraced her love for music, and built lifelong connections. Throughout her time there, she had the privilege of teaching and mentoring hundreds of students, shaping the next generation of music teachers with her knowledge, patience, and dedication. Jean shared her gift of music on many stages both domestic and international. These experiences broadened her horizons, deepened her cultural appreciation, and solidified her commitment to using music as a universal language of unity and love. She very much enjoyed giving the commentary for the music at the U-Band concerts at Concordia University conducted by Rich Fischer her good friend and colleague. "I am going to miss her more than any words can say. Jean filled my life with happiness, joy, and a loving smile that I will never forget. She is gone to soon from this earth but will be in my heart forever." Allen J. Milwaukee Ave. (2 blocks south of Dundee Road) in Wheeling. Inurnment will be private.
