Janusz Boleslaw Sasal, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7, 2024 after a life in health and happiness, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 1, 1949 in Ostrowiec Swietokrzyski, Poland, a son of the late Boleslaw and Bogumila Sasal.  He moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1994. Janusz was preceded in death by his father, Boleslaw, his brother, Wlodzimierz, and recently by his mother, Bogumila. Janusz is survived by his daughter Anne (Adam), his wife Krystyna, his three granddaughters, Isabella, Kalina, and Liliana, his sister Ewa (Darek), his sister-in-law Grazyna, his nieces and nephews, Sylvia (Jarek), Sandra, Philip, Veronika (Lukasz), and grand niece and nephew Victoria and Timothy; as well as many other loving family and friends. Visitation Friday December 13, 2024, 4:00 -7:00 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling.  Life Celebration Mass 12:00 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 724 Elder Lane, Deerfield, IL 60015.  Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
