Jacqueline Marie David passed peacefully on January 25, 2021. She was born in Rewey, Wi. on Feb. 21, 1930, the only daughter of John and Wilma Temby. Jackie earned a degree in education from UW-Platteville prior to marrying Jerome (Mike) David in 1951. They made their home in Platteville, Wi. where they raised four sons. Jackie taught grade school for over 25 years before retiring to Naples Fl. She loved people, especially her students and she enjoyed telling stories about the joys and occasional humor of teaching young children. Above all else, Jackie loved her family and made family her priority in life. Jackie was preceded in death by Jerome her beloved husband of 58 years and two brothers Eldren and Wallace Temby. She is survived by her sons, John M.(Jane) David, James K. David, Jeffery R. David, and Joel T. (Debbie) David, three grand children, Jonathan (Taylor) David, Jason (Haylie) David, Allison (Cameron) Gray, and three great granddaughters, Addison, Charlotte, and Brooklyn David. A private inurnment will take place in the future at the Mifflin Cemetery.
