Hermogenes Roferos, age 96 of Wheeling, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2024. Hermogenes was born on September 2, 1927 in Bohol, Philippines. Beloved husband of Estrella Roferos nee Rosell for 65 years. Loving dad of Edwin (Glynes), Bob, Faith (Renato), Hope, and Charity. Adored grandpa of Timothy (Amanda), Paige (Joe), Spencer, Michelle, and Nicholas. Cherished great grandpa of Nathan, Scarlett, and Hazel. Loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Hermogenes was an accountant at the Chicago Medical School. Visitation Sunday, July 28th from 12 pm to 5 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S Milwaukee Ave (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road), Wheeling. A life celebration mass will be held the following day at 11 am at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 181 W Dundee Rd, Wheeling. Entombment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
