Helen (nee Schraudolf) Nelson age 93 of Wheeling.  Beloved wife of the late Richard "Dick" Nelson for 69 years.  Loving mother of Gail (John Minor) Nelson, Bob (Jamie) Nelson, Joan (Jack) Phillips, Steve (Liza) Nelson, and Don (Kim) Nelson. Dear grandmother of Rachel, Brian (Andrea), Maureen (David), Haley (Jeff), Eric, Jenna (Jack), Kelsey, Katelyn (Patrick), Jack, Cameron, Luke, Dylan, Paige (Jordain), Amanda, and Zachary. Great grandmother of Sonya, Reed, Nels, Rowan, Ava, Olive, Jordain Jr., Willow, and Hal. Dear Sister of Irma (late Jim) Nancarrow.  Aunt, Cousin, and Friend of many.

Visitation Wednesday, June 24, 2026 4-8 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling. 

Celebration of Life Service Thursday, June 25th at 9:30 am at Kolssak. 

Interment Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
