Peacefully and surrounded by his family, George Revelas passed away on April 8th at the age of 91 years old.George was the beloved husband of Sophie; adored father of Faye (Michael) Gartenberg and Renee (Mark) Banakis; loving "Papou" of Jamie (Graham) Conatser, Cory (Daniel) Koop, Michael (Mara) Banakis, and Nicole Banakis; luckiest great grandfather of Hudson and Wyatt Conatser; and cherished brother-in-law of Danny (Diane) Tzakis.George was born in Tripoli, Greece and lived a wonderful life in both Chicago, Illinois and Naples, Florida. He was a proud United States Army veteran, Chicago sports fan, restauranteur, and most importantly, he simply loved his family. He will be forever missed.
