Emmett J. Swerdon, age 83 of Schiller Park. Beloved husband of Jeannine M. Swerdon nee Barrett for 59 years. Loving dad of Jim (Debbie) Swerdon, Brian (Nataly) Swerdon, and Cindy (Debbie) Swerdon. Cherished grandpa of Spencer and Mia. Lap companion to Frosty III and many grandpups. Dear brother-in-law of Judy (late Mac) McDermott, Jill Quinlivan, Jan (Bob O'Brien) Schneider, Father Lenord Dubi "Bro" and the late Julie (late Jeff) Cesaretti. Brother of Pearl (late Mickey) Ursini. Loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Prior to his retirement, Emmett had a 40 year career as an electrician with IBEW Local 134. Emmett is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Eleanore Swerdon, sister Nancy Voight, brothers Raymond, Walter, and Jimmy Swerdon. Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, June 20th from 9 am to 10 am at Holy Virgin Martyrs Parish, 4157 Atlantic Ave, Schiller Park, IL 60176. A memorial mass will follow at 10 am.
