Dwayne "Gene" Johnson age 81 of Buffalo Grove, IL. Beloved husband of Diana (nee Maday) Johnson for 60 years. Loving dad of Karla Johnson and Dave (Kate) Johnson. Dear grampa of Anthony Puttkammer, and Jennifer (Daren) Nickerson, Aidan Johnson and Dylan Johnson. Great grandpa of Emma, Micah, and Devin. Fond brother of the late Lorelei Smith. Uncle, Cousin and Friend of many. Memorial Visitation 10:00 am Friday September 12, 2025 followed by a Life Celebration Service at 12:00 pm at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 Blocks South of Dundee Road) Wheeling, IL. Inurnment St. Mary Cemetery, Buffalo Grove, IL. In lieu of flowers donations to Journeycare Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
