Delores M. Schumann, 88, of Wheeling, IL passed away peacefully on 6-21-24 surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 31, 1935, in Chicago, Delores was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and sister. She was known for her love of her family and animals. She also enjoyed bowling and watching the Cubs. She dedicated her life to her family. Delores cherished spending time with her family and grandchildren; her warmth, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her beloved Husband of 43 years, Charles, Children: Dan (Colleen), Kelly (Scott), Rob (Donna), Charles III "Sonny", Mark (Tinna), Robbie, Tina, William , and 23 Grandchildren,19 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. Preceeded in death by children: Dawn and Cary, Sisters: June Nuccio, and Betty Koran. A visition will be held Tuesday June 25, 2024 from 9 am until 11am service at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Avenue, Wheeling, IL 60090. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA (www.aspca.org), in memory of Delores. A burial will follow at St. Mary of Buffalo Grove. Delores will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever.
