In loving memory of Dean James George

Dean lived his life devoted to his family and friends.  He would do anything for anyone.  When he walked into a room, you could just feel it.

Dean was a true warrior in his courageous battle with cancer.  He had an irrepressible passion for laughter and bringing joy to others.  He could spend all day quoting movie lines or golfing in his signature ridiculous knickerbockers and proudly clashing golf shirt.

He will be missed dearly and remembered always by all who had the great privilege to know and love him.

Dean James George, age 56, of Prairie View, Illinois. Beloved husband of 26 years of Anna nee Sabado.  Loving father of James, Ryan and Isabella.  Cherished son of Anna (nee Parashou) and the late James K. “Jimmy” George. Dearest brother of Vicki (Chris) Naveja, Alex (Chris Stelter) George, and Karen (Eric) Stiverson.  Fond son-in-law of Charmaine Soto and Phillip Sabado. Fond brother-in-law of Phil, Greg (Jenifer), and Tony (Lynn) Sabado.  Devoted uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many.

Family and friends will meet for visitation Friday, August 28, 2026, 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Ascension of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Church, 1207 Riverwoods Road, Lincolnshire, IL 60069. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens, 2501 E Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
