Carol Kand (Carol Ann Stewart), 82. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday Jan. 8th 2025. Beloved wife to late Alvin Kand. Preceded by her mother and father (Leonard and Mary Stewart) Remembered by her Brother Bill (Cheryl) Loving Mother to Kathy(Pete), Ken (Heather). Adorned grandmother to Riley and Zoe. She let 3 Kittens in from the cold 14 years ago and they became family: Scaredy-cat, Whitey, and Patches. A loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Raised in Chicago and the Chicago area, Williams Bay WI., moved to Mt. Prospect and finally landed in Twin Lakes WI. Proud owner of The Country Charm Gift Shop in Prospect Hts. A strong faith in God, family and friendships, Carol brought joy and happiness to those around her. With a vast knowledge of all that she had learned in her life, with the love of history, traveling, food and wine, music, movies, television, the world of You Tube, and so many memories, we are thankful and blessed to have been the ones who could receive these wonderful gifts that she shared with us, and that made her the amazing person that she was. She will be greatly missed by all. The adventurer in her would always want to know what's around the next corner and over the next hill. Now she knows and it is beautiful.
