C. Andrew "Andy" Larsen, age 77 of Palatine. Beloved husband of Judy Larsen nee Glandt for 53 years. Loving father of Carrie (Greg) LaVigne. Adored grandfather of Jackie and Lexie LaVigne. Loving uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Andy was born in Chicago in 1942, but soon moved to Hawaii where he spent his childhood. After graduating high school there, he joined the Air Force during the Vietnam wartime, then returned to the U.S. and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of San Francisco. After meeting his wife, Andy moved back to the Chicago-area to raise his family. His successful career as an Executive Director and meeting planner for several different associations spanned across 40 years. Services for Andy will be held at a later date.
