Devoted mother of Tammy (Andy) Parashos and the late Dean (Joanne) and the late George (Diane) Pistas. Cherished YiaYia of Perry, Steve (Maria), and Dean Parashos, Steve Tertipis, Dean (Holly) Pistas, Anna (Nick) Zettel, and Georgia (Damien) Radtke. Doting Great-grandmother of George and Demetri Pistas, Max and Alexander Radtke. Fond sister of Kostantina (the late George) Giatanos, Virginia (Pete) Stouras, and the late Theodoros (the late Hariklia) and Georgios (the late Georgia) Kribenis, Katina Paterakis, Athanasia (the late Panagiotis) Karantza. Caring aunt, cousin, and a friend of many. Anna lived a life filled with love, faith, and quiet strength. She found joy in the simple pleasures — knitting beautiful pieces by hand, cooking hearty meals, and making Greek coffee every day for her friends, a cherished tradition that brought warmth and connection. Despite the unimaginable loss of her husband and two sons, Anna never lost her faith. She remained devoted to her community, serving faithfully at the Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Chapel at Elmwood Cemetery for many years. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was endless, and she spoke of them with immense pride. A proud member of the Association of Lykouria and the Kalavryta Foundation, Anna stayed deeply connected to her Greek heritage. She also had a delightful sense of humor, often declaring that her son-in-law's cooking was even better than Tammy's, a compliment that always brought laughter around the table. Visitation and Funeral, Wednesday, October 29,2025 from 9:30 am until time of Funeral service 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 10050 Ivanhoe St. Schiller Park, Illinois 60176.
