Amado Martinez, a beloved husband of Maria Luz Martinez, a devoted father of Andy (Kari) and Marisa (Tywan Armstrong), and a cherished Papa Amado to Angel, Andres Jr., and Aliyah, passed away at the age of 80. He was also a fond brother of Ricardo, Ramon, Alejandrina, Merced, and Manuel, a kind uncle, cousin, and friend to many. In addition to his parents, Amado was preceded in death by his beloved siblings, Marcelino, Reynaldo, Amado (at birth), and Maria (at birth). Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Kolssak Funeral Home, located at 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 blocks south of Dundee Road) in Wheeling. Visitation will resume on Friday at 10 a.m. at Kolssak Funeral Home with funeral service followed at 11 am. then interment at All Saints Cemetery.
